Steamed Squid Heads

Preparation time: 10mins (Plus marinating over night)
Cooking time: 5mins

300-400g squid heads
2tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tsp dark vinegar
peanut oil
garlic and ginger - amount depends on your preference.
1 tbsp whiskey, red wine or Saiki (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together and marinate over night in the refrigerator.
  2. Remove from fridge and mix again.
  3. Place in dish being used to steam, ensuring the mixture is only one layer thick.
  4. Steam for 5-7 minutes on a strong steam.

 

Best served with rice.
