Dr. Tiejun Tang MD Phd TCM

Dr. Tiejun Tang, a leading Chinese medical clinician and scholar, qualified in China 28 years ago with degrees of BSc, MSc and PhD. Before he came to London in 2005, he had worked in many prestigious hospitals including top Chinese military university hospitals as a medical doctor and associated professor. Now he is education director of Asante and link tutor to Middlesex University. He is also in charge of NHS Whittington Hospital’s acupuncture pain clinic.

His speciality is in gastro-intestinal problems and cardio-vascular diseases. He is also experienced in treating arthritis, asthma, hay fever, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraine, infertility, gynaecology disease, dermal disease, and repetitive strain injury.

Apart from his vast clinical experience, he has also published many articles and books about Chinese medicine in Chinese and English, especially his PhD work, under the supervision of the most famous grandmaster professor Tietao Deng, was well received in Chinese medicine field.

He speaks good English has easy going character. He is one of the most popular doctors in Asante.
