The clinic treats patients from all over the country, indeed all over Europe, such is our reputation.

After a consultation your doctor may prescribe one or more of the following therapies:

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine, in the form of herbal teas, pills, powders or creams.

  • Acupuncture, according to the classical system of meridians and points.

  • Dietary and nutritional advice. Nutrition therapy is an important aspect of Chinese Medicine.

  • Tuina. This Chinese therapeutic massage is a highly effective method of acupressure and manipulation.

  • Exercises in Qi Gong (pronounced "chee gun") or Taiji (pronounced "tyechee"). Our Qi Gong and Taiji Masters can formulate individual programmes for every need.

Medical Tests and Investigations

Chinese doctors use classical diagnostic techniques, including pulse and tongue diagnosis. However, detailed Western medical investigations may sometimes be necessary.

For example: Blood tests, x-rays, MRI, CT or Ultrasound scans. These can all be arranged very quickly, often on the same day, utilising our special relationship with the Whittington Hospital which is just across the road.
