Dr Shamim Daya, BM DRCoG

Dr Daya did her medical training at Southamtpon University, qualifying in 1985. After five years of postgraduate hospital training, she worked as a GP in the NHS between 1991 and 1994. During this period she undertook further postgraduate study in nutritional medicine, working at the Biolab Medical Unit in London as a nutritional physician until 1997, when she began her study of herbal medicine, including the western, Ayurvedic and Chinese approaches. As well as running a busy private practice Dr Daya has found the time to develop her counselling skills via a 3-year training programme in Time Therapy providing her with some very valuable and modern skills in Psychotherapy.
