Dr Jie Jiang PhD TCM MATCM

Dr Jiang has a Bachelors degree in TCM and medicine and a Masters degree of Qigong. Dr Jiang graduated with a PhD in Orthopaedics of TCM from Shanghai University of TCM in 1999. After that he worked as Associate Professor and Director of Teaching Staff in the Orthopaedics Dept of the Faculty of TCM at Jinan University, Guangzhou. Here he undertook clinical and research work in the field of orthopaedic rehabilitation, with special interest in musculo-skeletal and degenerative diseases. In 2004 he worked as an exchange doctor in Germany at the Klinik Berlin for orthopaedic rehabilitation. Dr Jiang moved to the UK in 2006 and joined Asante in March 2008.

Dr Jiang has extensive knowledge of both TCM and Western Medicine. He is an expert in musculo-skeletal and degenerative problems, such as sports injuries, neck/shoulder/low back pain, arthritits, sciatica and so on. He can also treat such conditions as migraine, depression and insomnia effectively.
