Dizziness - Chinese Medicine explanation and treatment
In Chinese Medicine chronic dizziness such as that caused by high blood pressure is considered
to be the result either of liver heat of kidney deficiency. If it is acute,
after infections like flu, dizziness is regarded in Chinese Medicine as an invasion of wind. This invasion is
expelled with herbs such as cinnamon twigs, peppermint and fresh ginger. Dizziness
caused by internal problems may be treated by a Chinese Medicine practitioner by nourishing the blood with
mulberry fruit, Chinese angelica and wolfberry and a very effective fungus
called gastrodia tuber.
