Lupus - explanation and treatment

Lupus vulgaris, which usually attacks young people, affects the skin on the face and neck. Lupus erythematosus occurs in two forms, both more common in women. One form of lupus involves slightly raised red patches on the face, giving a characteristic butterfly appearance: the other can affect the internal organs.

Both kinds of lupus respond well to Chinese Medicine. Herbs can control the disease and enable patients to cut back on the steroids they are prescribed in Western medicine.
