Achyranthes - Niu Xi (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae)

[Source] Niu Xi - the root of the perennial herbage Achyrantes bidentata Blume (Huainuxi) and C. officinalis Kuan (Chuanniuxi), family Amaranthaceae.

[Function] Niu Xi promotes blood circulation to remove blood stasis, nourishes the liver and kidney, strengthens bones and muscles. Niu Xi also induces urination to treat difficult urination and ensures the correct downward flow of blood.

[Application] Niu Xi is used for irregular and painful periods or periods that do not come and abdominal pain after childbirth. Niu xi is also used for pain of the loins and knees and weakness of lower limbs.
