[Source] Zhi Mu - the rhizome of a pernnial herbaceous plant, Anemarrhena asphodeloides Bunge, family Liliaceae.
[Function] Zhi Mu clears heat and purges fire. Zhi Mu also nourishes yin and moistens dryness.
[Application] Zhi Mu is often used for fever due to deficiency of yin. Zhi Mu can also be used for night sweats, restlessness, fever, thirst and constipation.
