Atractylodes - Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae)

[Source] Bai Zhu - the Rhizome of Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz, family Compositae.

[Function] Bai Zhu invigorates the spleen and benefits qi. Eliminates dampness and promotes urination. Stops sweating and soothes the fetus.

[Application] Bai Zhu is used for poor appetite, loose stools, fullness of the abdomen, fatigue or oedema due to deficiency of the spleen.
