Chinese Angelica - Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis)

[Source] Dang Gui - the root of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels, family Umbelliferae.

[Function] Dang Gui nourishes the blood, promotes blood circulation, relieves pain and moistens the intestines.

[Application] Dang Gui is indicated for blood deficiency syndromes such as sallow complexion, pale lips, dizziness, palpitations and whitish nails. Dang Gui is very commonly used for irregular and painful periods or no periods. It can also be used for constipation due to blood deficiency and dryness of the intestines.
