Elecampane - Mu Xiang (Radix Aucklandiae)

[Source] Mu Xiang - the root of Aucklandia lappa Decne., family Compositae.

[Function] Mu Xiang promotes circulation of qi and alleviates pain.

[Application] Mu Xiang is used for stomach and spleen qi-stagnation syndromes and is also an essential medicine to activate qi circulation and alleviate pain. Mu Xiang can be used for abdominal pain, stomach-ache, diarrhoea or constipation. It also has proven therapeutic effects for the treatment of cholelithiasis and gallstone colic.
