Hog Fennel Root - Qian Hu (Radix Peucedani)
[Source] Qian Hu - the root of Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn and P. decurisivum Maxim., family Umbelliferae.
[Function] Qian Hu lowers the adverse-rising of qi and resolves phlegm, expels wind and heat.
[Application] Qian Hu is used for cough, breathing difficulty and thick sputum. Combined with other herbs Qian Hu can treat cough due to heat or cold phlegm.
