[Source] Bai Bu - the root tuber of Stemona sessilifolia (Miq.) Miq. and S. japonica (Bl.) Miq., family Stemonaleae.
[Function] Bai Bu moistens the lung to arrest cough, kills worms.
[Application] Bai Bu is indicated for short-term or prolonged cough, whooping cough and cough due to pulmonary tuberculosis. It can be boiled into thick decoction for external use and is indicated for head lice and scabies.
