Phlegm
Phlegm is thick mucous or body fluid which is the product of malfunction
in the body. It should be discharged from the body because it occupies
space and blocks the meridians which can then cause disease. It can
be classified into visible and invisible phlegm. Both can cause many symptoms
and it can be diagnosed in patients who have a greasy coating on the tongue.
