Dr Qikan Yin MA (TCM) MATCM

Dr Yin gained his Bachelor Degree in Clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997 and continued studying to obtain his Masters degree in 1999 from Shanghai University of TCM, which is ranked as one of the top four TCM universities in China. After graduating Dr Yin worked in Shanghai Jing’an District Central hospital as a consultant and specialist in internal medicine.

In 2003 he came to the UK to practise Chinese Medicine. Dr Yin has more than 12 years clinical experience and is a member of Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM). His areas of expertise are:

• Digestive disorders: gastritis, IBS, chronic constipation, enteritis etc
• Neurological and Musculoskeletal diseases: frozen shoulder, sciatica, arthritis, muscular pain etc
• Respiratory disorders: bronchitis, sinusitis, bronchial asthma etc

Dr Yin uses acupuncture, Chinese herbs and Tui Na massage to treat patients, and also has a thorough knowledge of Western medicine
