Royal Free Hospital NHS Acupuncture Pain Clinic

This September Royal Free Hospital and Asante Academy joined forces to collaborate on a new Acupuncture Pain Clinic. This NHS acupuncture clinic will run one full day per week. The clinic is jointly run by Asante acupuncturist Dr Qikan Yin and Royal Free hospital staff.

Acupuncture is becoming more and more accepted within Western Medicine and the NHS as an effective and valuable treatment for pain conditions. The Royal Free is the third hospital in London to join forces with Asante to provide acupuncture services for the relief of chronic pain. Professor Ke, Asante's Principal, is optimistic that more hospitals will work with Asante in 2010.
