Tuina or Chinese Therapeutic Massage

This ancient Chinese healing art is quite different from other forms of massage, using finger pressure, stretching and leverage to stimulate the channels and acupuncture points. It is often used in conjunction with acupuncture, and is not only an effective treatment for musculo-skeletal problems, such as lower-back pain, frozen shoulder, slipped discs and fractures, but can also be effective for many other conditions, for example digestive problems and insomnia. In addition, Tuina is effective for stress relief and relaxation, and to stimulate the body's organs via special points, helping to prevent illness and improve both mental and physical vitality.
