At the Asanté College students are taught authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, but within a modern clinical setting. Many of our teachers and doctors graduated from the top TCM colleges in China and are all highly qualified and experienced. Their knowledge of TCM theory is extensive, enabling students to gain a much deeper understanding of the philosophy underlying TCM.

All of our teachers are also full time practitioners and thus their teaching is eminently practical and clinically based. Students have the opportunity to observe, train and practice in one of the top TCM clinics in Europe with patients attending from literally all over the world.

Many if not most of our teaching staff are also trained and qualified in western medicine. This means for example, that the teaching of clinical and diagnostic skills also incorporates western medical techniques for patient examination procedures. Again it is the focus on the clinical setting which is paramount in the Asanté teaching philospophy. It is our aim to produce graduates who are confident in the clinical setting but who have the necessary theoretical knowledge and understanding to be effective and successful practitioners.
